What does this mean?   I’ve studied photography, lighting, and technique relating to photography – both film and digital.  I had to pass a written test that showed I had an understanding of these skills.   Then I was required to submit images for review by a board of master photographers.   They were judged on lighting, posing, exposure, and other technical criteria that shows I know how to put into practice the things I have learned.    Passing both the written test and image review is required to become certified.

I highly recommend using Cindy Shaver for your photographer. She went above and beyond what I expected from a wedding photographer. Besides having great photos, she and her assistant were present at the rehearsal, were present the entire wedding day, had great attitudes, and in general were very nice to have around.
